Instapay is a technology platform in development, not a bank. We do not currently offer real-money financial services. This policy describes our intended privacy practices and will be updated as our platform develops.

When you create an account or join the Instapay waitlist, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and government-issued identification information. If real-money services become available, we may also collect additional identity verification information required by applicable law, including information needed to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
When you visit our website or use our platform, we may automatically collect information about your device, browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other usage data. This information helps us understand how people use our platform and improve our services.
If bank account linking becomes available, Instapay intends to use a secure, user-permissioned bank-linking provider, subject to partner approval. Through such a provider, we may receive information about your bank account, including account type, account number (in tokenized form), routing number, and transaction history necessary to facilitate transfers. Instapay will not ask you to provide your bank login credentials directly. The availability of bank-linking features is subject to partner, bank, compliance, and regulatory approval.

Instapay retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For accounts that are closed or inactive, we may retain certain information for a period required by applicable law — including financial recordkeeping requirements — even after you request deletion of your account. Where retention is no longer legally required, we will delete or anonymize your information in accordance with our internal data retention policies.
