Important Disclaimer: Instapay is not currently offering live bank-linking or real-money transfer services. Bank-linking features are subject to partner approval, technical integration, compliance review, and user consent.
Security Notice: Instapay will never ask for your bank password, PIN, or login credentials by phone, email, or text. If you receive such a request, do not respond — report it to [email protected] immediately.
This disclosure explains Instapay's intended approach to bank account linking, including how it may work, what information may be received, and how your data would be protected. All bank-linking features described in this disclosure are subject to approval and are not currently available. Instapay intends to use a secure, user-permissioned bank-linking provider — such as Plaid — once all required approvals and integrations are complete.
References to Plaid in this disclosure describe Instapay's intended approach only. Instapay has not confirmed a commercial relationship with Plaid and makes no representation that Plaid has approved or endorsed Instapay's platform.

If bank-linking features become available on the Instapay platform, you will be asked to provide explicit permission before any connection to your bank account is initiated. Instapay intends to use a user-permissioned bank-linking process, meaning you must actively authorize any connection between your bank account and the Instapay platform. You will be presented with a clear disclosure and consent flow before any bank-linking occurs. You may decline to link a bank account at any time. Declining may limit your ability to use certain features of the platform once real-money services are available.
If approved and made available, bank-linking on the Instapay platform may be used for the following purposes: • Verifying that you own the bank account you wish to use • Facilitating deposits and withdrawals between your bank account and your Instapay account • Confirming sufficient funds before initiating a transfer • Complying with applicable financial regulations, including identity and account verification requirements Bank-linking will not be used to access your bank account for any purpose beyond those disclosed to you at the time of consent.
If bank-linking is enabled through a provider such as Plaid, Instapay may receive the following information from your financial institution, subject to your permission: • Account type (e.g., checking or savings) • Account holder name • Account and routing numbers in tokenized or encrypted form • Account balance information (where necessary to facilitate transfers) • Limited transaction history (where required for fraud prevention or regulatory compliance) Instapay will not receive your full bank account credentials, and the bank-linking provider will not share your login password with Instapay.
If you have linked a bank account to the Instapay platform, you may disconnect it at any time through your account settings or by contacting support at [email protected]. You may also revoke Instapay's access to your bank account data directly through your bank's online portal or through the bank-linking provider's data access portal (if applicable). Revoking access through a third-party portal may not automatically remove your linked account from Instapay — please also notify us directly. Disconnecting a bank account may prevent you from using certain features of the platform.
Any bank account information received through a bank-linking provider will be handled in accordance with Instapay's Privacy Policy. Instapay will not sell your bank account information to third parties for marketing purposes. Bank account data will be shared only as necessary to provide the services you have requested, to comply with applicable law, or to prevent fraud and unauthorized activity. Instapay intends to work with bank-linking providers that maintain industry-standard data security practices, subject to partner approval and contractual agreements.
Instapay will never ask you to provide your bank account username, password, PIN, or security questions by phone, email, text message, or any other channel outside of a secure, user-permissioned bank-linking flow. If you receive any communication claiming to be from Instapay that requests your bank login credentials directly, do not respond and report it immediately to [email protected]. This type of request is not authorized by Instapay and may indicate a phishing attempt.
Instapay has not yet completed integration with Plaid or any other bank-linking provider. Any reference to Plaid or similar services on this platform describes Instapay's intended approach, subject to the following conditions being met: • Execution of a commercial agreement with the bank-linking provider • Completion of technical integration and security review • Approval from Instapay's sponsor bank partner (if applicable) • Compliance review and sign-off • Any required regulatory approvals Until all applicable conditions are satisfied, bank-linking features will not be available to users. Instapay will update this disclosure when the status of bank-linking integration changes.
This disclosure may be updated as Instapay's platform develops. Instapay is not a bank. Real-money services and bank-linking features are not currently available and are subject to partner, bank, compliance, and regulatory approval. Nothing in this disclosure constitutes an offer of financial services or a representation that any specific partner has approved or agreed to work with Instapay.
